Fantastic weekend spent at Glemnore campsite on the shores of Loch Morlich. Superb spot for the campervan in the pine forest right by the side of the Loch. Kind of disappointed that we didnt take kayaks or wetsuits, but this was tempered slightly by the sign which told us that the loch is fed by snow……..
Great walk from the campsite up to the top of Meall a’ Buachaille and then down to Ryvoan Bothy and back. You can see the route here :
The Pine Marten Bar, just at the entrance to the campsite is a great place to hang out and get warm. An old school shop/cafe/bar, really friendly with some great music by Riverman Rod too.
